WW2 AUSTRALIAN ARMY RAW EDGE HELMET 1941
This helmet was a local pickup here in WA. The family that sold it to me said that their father had used it in North Africa. The finish has been bleached by the sun and the liner is showing signs of wear also. The helmet is date stamped 1941. Australians played an important role in North Africa, the Mediterranean area and the Middle East between 1940 and 1942.
