RARE CASED WW1-2 GERMAN SNIPER SCOPE GERARD LANDLICHT
History
Dr.W.Gerard rifle scopes were produced in Germany prior to World War I for use on hunting and sporting rifles.With the onset of the war, Gerard scopes, along with many other previously manufactured sporting & hunting rifle scopes, were adapted by the German Army for use on their Scharfschutzen-Gewehr 98 Sniping Rifles. All Gerard scopes are scarce in Australia.

GERARD-LANDLICHT Mod."0" 4 X magnification Rifle Scope in good working condition. Working mechanics, nice lens,not typical for 100 or more years scope. Clear, sharp view. Barrel clearly marked Gerard Landlicht. Serial number 51862 stamped to the sight adjuster. Comes in its felt lined transportation box.
