This is a large 19 Century German Forestry or Hunting knife that measures 44cm in length in its original leather scabbard. Beautifully made with an Stag Horn grip with steel fittings. The Blade is a Damascus double edged blade with no nicks or scrapes to the edges. This would not have been a cheap weapon when sold new in the 1800's.
