AUSTRALIAN OR BRITISH ISSUED M7 BAYONET.
I have researched this M7 bayonet online and there is speculation on its exact origin, it bears two marks on the cross guard, one is 'M7' and the other is the 'Broad Arrow' stamp which, according to researchers denotes that it was issued either in the UK or Australia. the other discovery is that it is in a Black M10 scabbard which everybody agrees signifies issue to Special Forces in both countries. The M7 bayonet fits the M16 rifle and also the Australian issued Steyr rifle. As I purchased this bayonet here in Australia it is more than likely to be Australian issued.
