History
The Algemeine Deutche Automobile Club (ADAC) was founded in 1911. In 1933 under Nazification all automobile clubs in Germany formed the DDAC which also helped to support the German Armed Forces. After WW2 the ADAC was reformed and still operates today similar to the Australian RAC,

This grille badge is made of solid Brass with enamel paintwork. Some scratches and digs as shown in the images. Maker marked to the rear to S. Demmel OHG Munchen (Munich) and date stamped 25 (1925)
Nice item for the automobile collector.
