WW1 1897 PATTERN GEORGE V INFANTRY OFFICERS SWORD
This sword is in very good condition compared to many that are found on the market today. No maker marks to the blade. Stores issue number 363 stamped on the spine near the guard. Nickel plating to the guard is in good condition with only a couple of minor blemishes, the same goes for the blade which is engraved with the King George Crown. The handle ray skin is in good condition but there are a couple of breaks in the wire wrap which are hardly noticeable. The leather scabbard is in great condition and is not worn out at the end which is normally found on other swords.
A good sword that is reasonably priced.
