WW1 AUSTRALIAN BADGE BELT. This badge belt is a local pick up here in Perth and consists of 53 badges, titles and buttons that were collected by the soldier as he made his way during the war. Badge belts were a soldiers reminder of where he has been and what he has done during the war and were highly prized. Interesting note that there is a Turkish button on the belt to show service on Gallipoli. There are some rare badge like the Royal Flying Corps and also a train button.
