This book was issued to Western Australian 5880 pte Albert Edward Hyde of the 28 Bn (16th Reinforcements), who was wounded in action (gun shot wounds to the right thigh, wrist and right shoulder) during the advance to the Hindenburg Line. These books are rare to find with such provenance.
