WW1 BRITISH ISSUED FRENCH MADE BINOCULARS AND CASE
During WW1 the Commonwealth Armies purchased binoculars from a variety of suppliers including the French due a shortage on the Western Front.
These are a typical example of those binoculars. Clearly marked Made in France and Broad Arrow stamped on the leather case. Showing some signs of battle wear. The optics are clear but need re-aligning to make them perfect. Leather case is in good condition for its age with minor separation of the stitching on the top, a couple of broken loops and the buckle missing.
