It was not uncommon during WW1 that the British Army purchased binoculars from France to be used by British Officers and these binoculars are a good example. This pair of LEMAIR binos are Broad Arrow marked and come in their leather case which is date stamped 1918 to the lid. Optics are clear and no noticeable damage to the leather case.
