WW1 GERMAN AIRCRAFT PROPELLOR WITH TACHOMETER GAUGE.
This propellor end has come off a WW1 German fighter plane confirmed by its laminated wood with a brass edge to the lead side. It bears the original decal from the Luckenwalde Factory of the Niendorf Propellerwierke. Mounted in the propellor is a large gauge which I am told is a Tachometer from the same period German aircraft. The gauge is complete but there is some damage to the metal frame.
This is a nice hard to get piece for the WW1 German aviator collector, standing at 550mm high by 220mm wide at the base.
