WW1 GERMAN CRANK HANDLED DEMAG TRENCH KNIFE.
This knife was designed as a bayonet to fit onto the German soldiers rifle and also as a trench/fighting knife. They are rare to find. This example comes complete with its scabbard that is missing the leather belt loop. Blade is bright but needs a good clean and is maker marked to Demag D.R.G.M The original leather buffer pad is still there. Handle still retains traces of its original green colour. This has seen combat use. Whilst these trench knives are legal to own they are a banned import into Australia as they have a double edged blade .
