WW1 M15 FRENCH CAMO HELMET
When France entered WW1 its soldiers were issued with Horizon Blue uniforms with a matching Blue on the helmet, this use of the Blue colour was very noticeable by the German enemy on the battlefield and resulted in many casualties. As the war progressed the French soldier painted his helmet and disguised his uniform as best he could.
This helmet has been period camoflague painted showing signs of the original Horizon Blue underneath the scuffs and scratches. It has the original liner and chinstrap.
