WW1 TURKISH OFFICERS SWORD/SIDEARM
These swords are not cut down from original length swords but were made specifically in three different lengths. Research has revealed them in photos of officers at Gallipoli and the Middle East during WW1.
This sword measures approx 800mm long in its scabbard. It has a wooden grip which is not cracked. The hilt and guard are made from brass. Nice clean blade with a Turkish inscription to the blade presumably 'God is Great'. Dent free scabbard.
These swords are not common and are highly collectable to the WW1 edged weapon collector.
