WW2 AUSTRALIAN ISSUED ARMY HELMET PERSONALIZED
This is a cracker of an Australian issued Army "Tommy" helmet.
On the inside of the helmet the owners name is written in pencil "woolfitt". On the outside he has had professionally painted his nickname "Wontfit".
I decided to trace his details on the DVA website for WW2 and found only one Woolfit foe WA enlistees. See below.
