WW2 AUSTRALIAN ISSUED PARADE BAYONET FOR THE 303 RIFLE.
This bayonet has been period chromed for normal parade use or guard duties by the British Commonwealth Occupation Forces of Japan (BCOF) of which Australia participated in at the end of WW2. Markings on the blade show that it was issued in March 1943 and produced at the Orange Arsenal. The bayonet has some plating wear as shown in the images and comes with its webbing frog. It has a small chip off the wooden grips as shown in the images.
