WW2 GERMAN MESSERSCHMITT BF 109E-1 CRASHED FIGHTER RELIC ENGINE CASING
This relic came from a BF 109E-1 that was engaged in a dog fight on October 25 1940 during the Battle of Britain and crashed at Lidham Hill Farm, Guestling Sussex UK at 3.30pm.
The BF109E-1 was piloted by Feldwebel Willi Koslowski from 7/JG 51 who baled out and was badly burned. Reference the book Battle of Britain pages 696/7.
