WW1 GERMAN/TURKISH SOLDIERS ERSATZ BAYONET
As WW1 progressed the German Army which was short of supply started modifying and re-cycle their bayonets to cut down on production costs. They also supplied thenTurkish Army with theese modified weapons known as Ersatz bayonets. Many different models were made and they have become a unique niche in bayonet collecting. This example is a standard German/Turkish Ersatz bayonet.
