WW1 TURKISH ISSUE 98/05 SAW-BACK BAYONET SHORTENED VERSION
This is a great example of a WW1 German made Turkish issued 98/05 saw-back bayonet. Before issue to Turkish troops in WW1, the Army shortened the blade also removing or grinding down the teeth on the saw-back blade, very few escaped this process making this one much rarer. Maker stamped to the blade with 'WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER AG" Back of the spine is date stamped 11 for 1911. Text book Turkish issued 98/05 saw-back in great condition.
