WW2 BRITISH/AUSTRALIAN PILOTS FOLDING MACHETTE
The majority of these machette's were produced in the US during WW2 and issued to US Air Crew and Pilots. A limited number were made in the UK and issued to British and Australian Air Crew and Pilots. This example is UK made and maker marked on the base of the blade to JOSEPH WESTBY SHEFFIELD. The other side of the blade has the Broad Arrow Issue stamp and dated 1945. Blade showing signs of operational use.
