WW2 Japanese Navy Rear Admiral Naval officer’s sword with tag Kishimoto Nobuta. Flag officers (Admiral’s) pattern 1883 parade sabre features white ray skin handle with wire twist grips, brass cherry blossom pommel screw cap and folding hinge cast and stamped guard with cherry blossom blooms and stamp to base. Double fullered 66.5cm plated dress blade is un-sharpened with light wear to point. Black leather and brass mounts scabbard fits and locks into blade well. Full length 84cm and comes with tag marked Kishimoto Nobuta with street address in Osaka. Kishimoto Nobuta (1881-1962) was a Vice-Admiral of the Imperial Japanese Navy (Commission 1928).
